The Graduate!!!!

Our handsome little dude is all grown up and has graduated from preschool!!!!  WOW, where has the time gone?!?!  I can't believe he will start full-day kindergarten in the fall.  He is so excited!  He loved preschool and did such a great job.  His teachers always praised his good behavior and he made a ton of friends.  We are so proud of you, Kaden!
Kaden (aka "ladies man") with two good friends, Emily and Ella.

Love this guy!

Too Cool for Preschool!

Kaden and his best bud, Austin, celebrating at Big Kahuna with frozen yogurt after graduation.

Kaden made the most disgusting combination of yogurt and toppings, which included gumballs, marshamallows, sour gummy worms, and who knows what else!!!!!!! But he loved it and ate every last bite!

Kole can't BELIEVE that Kaden just graduated!!!!!

Kenna and her friend, Brooklyn!  Officially 2nd graders now :)

Fruit of the Spirit

At our children's school they give out "Fruit of the Spirit" awards at the end of the year to the kids in each grade that exemplify that character trait.  This year, Kayla was awarded Self-Control for 4th grade.  What a precious girl she is!!!!!

Mother's Day

This Mother's Day was extra special because we were able to dedicate Kole at church.  He was such a good boy for the whole thing, even though he was beyond ready for his big morning nap.  His gift to mommy was sleeping ELEVEN hours the night before (8pm-7am!!!).  Best gift ever!  I also got a Nixon watch, a fancy pool float, and awesome new sheets for our bed.
We hosted Mother's Day brunch at our home after church.  It was a very hot day, so all the kids and a few adults (myself included :)) went swimming.  It wasn't necessarily the most relaxing day ever, but a very fun and fulfilling day none-the-less.

Me with 3 of my beautiful kiddos (Kole was asleep in his room and I wasn't about to wake him up, even though some of the family thought I should)

5 of the 6 K's....Kole was still sleeping :)  and we forgot to get a picture of all of us once he woke up, because by then the kiddos were busy swimming.  Oh well!!!!

Kole's Nursery

What you see when you enter the room

A little reading area for Kole when he gets older.  Still need a few more things for the shelves.
A close-up of the bedding

Because we didn't find out whether Baby #4 was a boy or girl, the nursery had to wait to be completed until after arrival (I'm not a big fan of gender neutral nurseries).  So, here it is 10 weeks later and we have pretty much finished Kole's nursery.  I ended up going with a navy/tan/white theme.  I love the crisp, clean look of those colors together.  We were able to use the same furniture from Kaden, which was very handy.  Here's some pictures of the room (the wall color seems to have not photographed very well....it is darker and more brown in person)
